VR game for EU research project.

Goal

To explore the possibilities of making cultural video games with a focus on Danish culture and art.

Problem

Merging Danish art and culture with video game mechanics. As well as the requiremet to do this through the use of XR (extended reality). Balancing the demands of multiple stakeholders, from educators to museum curators and making a cohesive game.

Solution

A short narrative VR game. Attempting to shine a light on the way narratives are presented to us as facts in our daily lives. Making use of frustration in the gameplay to hopefully make players want to take charge in the narratives they meet in reality as well.
